Ladbrokes Coral Acquisition
On 28 March 2018 GVC Holdings completed the acquisition of Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC, transforming the scale and shape of our business to create one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming Groups. The enlarged Group has a workforce of c.28,000 people and with a network of 3,500 bookmaking shops operating under the separate Ladbrokes and Coral brands, becomes the UK’s largest high street bookmaker.

In addition to its UK retail outlets, Ladbrokes Coral also brings a strong online presence with digital sports betting and gaming offerings across its brands. Internationally they have a particular strength in retail and online operations in Italy, where they are the second biggest online operator. In Ireland, Spain and Belgium they are number one in retail and have a strong online operation in Australia, where Ladbrokes is the third most recognisable corporate bookmaking brand.
